Currently we charge sales tax in Maryland. If tax-exempt in the state of Maryland, please email Tax ID# to info@thelocksource.com, create a Customer Account, which we can code as tax-exempt once confirmed. Purchases made from all others states are required to declare in-state taxes for all good sold.

There is a 30-day window to return any item, unless defective.

The Lock Source will waive all restocking fees of stock items if they are sent back by the customer in saleable condition.

Special Factory Order items are subject to the manufacturer restocking fee and, in some cases, may be ineligible to return.

Return Rules

All returned items must be in saleable condition, including in the complete and original manufacturer packaging and include all accessories, literature
& documentation.

Note: Defective items will be covered under the manufacturer’s
warranty and will be replaced at no charge within the state timeframe.

Note: The Lock Source is not responsible the return freight on any return, unless defective, and shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.

The Lock Source reserves the right to refuse any return if any of the above conditions are not met.

How to Properly Return a Package

For all Returns, please contact The Lock Source direct at 301.873.1710 or info@thelocksource.com to obtain a Return Instructions you can use to send back.

Be sure to place the original manufacturer box into a separate shipping carton (there can be not tape or stickers on the original manufacturer box).

If there is ever any change or delay in the shipping of
your item, we will contact you immediately.

Claims for loss or damage must be made within six (6) days of
receipt of shipment. Most sales orders transacted in full on our Internet site
(www.TheLockSource.com) over $99 will be pre-paid via standard freight. Some items may not be eligible for pre-paid freight. 

Orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous states, including
Hawaii, Alaska, all U.S. Territories, Canada and APO addresses, are not eligible for pre-paid freight.  

All items will be shipped with Standard Delivery, meaning UPS
& USPS will leave packages at the listed recipient address with no signature required.

All expedited shipping refers to Weekdays only unless specifically noted.

Note: All orders received on weekdays after 2 p.m. EST are subject to be shipped the following business day, including expedited deliveries.

The Lock Source can ship to APO Addresses via USPS and that
feature is enabled on our web site. We can also ship to Canada, however The Lock Source is not responsible for any additional tax or duties on any international shipment. 

All quoted shipping prices as well as pre-paid freight orders
constitute one (1) shipment and The Lock Source reserves the right to ship all orders complete unless noted and/or additional freight costs are paid for by
the customer. 

All on-site freight quotes come direct from the specific carrier
and are subject to change by The Lock Source. If any freight cost is higher than what was quoted on www.TheLockSource.com,
The Lock Source reserves the right to cancel the shipment.
